Steel is a building technique with a "Skeleton frame" of Vertical steel columns and horizontal beam, which are riveted, bolted or welded together a rectilinear grid to support floors, roof and walls of a building.

Heavier Metal gauge metal stud is used in load bearing walls and structural applications such exterior walls

Is also known as Plaster-Board, Sheetrock, or Gypsum Board; Is a paper covered panel with a gypsum plaster core sandwiched between two thick sheets of paper, and is attached to wood or metal studs with nails or screws and is typically used as interior wall and ceilings

Drywall Taping is commonly known as the drywall "finishing' is the process of applying paper ir fiber glass tape over the drywall joints using drywall compound as a glue to adhere the tape, this process is the first coat, it helps to seal the seams, creating a smooth surface. Generally, there are 3 coats of taping prior to sanding and priming / painting. The first coat is a direct above, the second one is to fill and cover all the paper ar fiberglass tapes and the third one is to apply a thin layer of compound so smooth that only light sand is required prior painting application. This process reiforces the weak areas and help the drywall to last longer.
